Obi-Wan Kenobi gets through more lightsabers than you'd expect for a guy famous for being calm about everything. The usual count across the films is three, and the TV series adds a fourth look. Fair warning: much of the detail below comes from prop collectors and fan histories rather than official databases, so we've kept the claims modest.
The first one
In The Phantom Menace, young Obi-Wan carries a blue lightsaber, a Padawan's version of the weapon he'd grown up watching Qui-Gon use. It doesn't make it out of the film. He loses it in the duel with Darth Maul on Naboo, which is a rough first day on the job.
The second one
After Qui-Gon dies, Obi-Wan builds a replacement that's reportedly close to a copy of his first. According to fan histories, it didn't last either, and he ended up needing another before the Clone Wars got going. We wouldn't bet money on every detail there, since the sources disagree.
The one everyone remembers
The hilt people mean when they say "Obi-Wan's lightsaber" is the one from Revenge of the Sith. It was designed for that film, and it's different from the hilt in the first two prequels. Fans also point out that its look inspired the green saber Luke builds in Return of the Jedi, which is a nice bit of family resemblance. It's slimmer and cleaner than the chunky hilt from the original film, and it's the one that most replicas copy.
The Kenobi series
For the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, the prop team had to reconcile two different eras of hilt design. The original trilogy's saber and the prequel one are similar but not identical, so the show blended the two into something that still feels authentic. The result mostly mirrors the prequel hilt, with an updated emitter and a worn, weathered finish that looks like it spent years in the Tatooine desert. Which, to be fair, it did, in the story.
If you want one
We've got two that follow this line. The Kenobi III is $419, with an 11.4 inch hilt, and the Kenobi TV Weathered is $459 with the same hilt length and a worn look. Both come with Baselit+, Neopixel or Proffie electronics and 32 or 36 inch blades, and they include a Covertec belt wheel. The display stand and blade plug come with them except on the Baselit version. They're inspired by the character, not officially licensed, and the prices are current as of writing.
Not sure which electronics suit you? The best lightsaber for dueling goes through it, and the Neopixel guide covers the fancier option. Obi-Wan was famously a Soresu fighter, so if you want to see what that means, take a look at the seven lightsaber forms. And the blue blade's meaning is in what every lightsaber color means.
